Victoria Park Bistro

Victoria Park Bistro is a family friendly destination in one of Brisbane’s busiest lifestyle precincts, with plenty of dining options to suit foodies, situated just 2km from the Brisbane CBD and open 7 days a week.
And what’s best is they have an on-site Kids Playground and weekend games area with a jumping castle for kids to enjoy.
Enjoy a relaxed family breakfast, lunch or dinner in the delightful alfresco setting. Whether you’re looking for a place to catch up with friends, celebrate a special occasion, or hang out with the family, Victoria Park Bistro has it all.
Open for breakfast 7 days a week and lunch or dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, the delicious array of dishes has something on offer for everyone, including tasty treats for the littlies.
The Kids Playground is right next to the Bistro and perfect for kids aged 3 -12 to run around and enjoy the slides, climbing ropes, a rock climbing wall and several imaginative play areas. The Playground also features a re-purposed farm tractor, row boat and giant wooden cubby house. On weekends there is also a kids jumping castle and games area open from 9am – 4pm.

Sirromet Winery

Wineries and kids don’t normally go together, however Sirromet caters for just this. I
The Cellar Door Café serves Devonshire teas, coffee, cakes, vineyard platters and light lunches and provides a children’s menu. The Tuscan Kitchen serves up delicious Italian lunches – homemade pasta, wood fired pizzas and children’s meals. There is also a large playground nearby.
On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, live music adds to the laidback atmosphere as you look over the expansive green, where kids can kick around a ball, spot wallabies or you can get a picnic rug out and just chill.

The Belvedere Hotel
The Belvedere Hotel is a landmark historic pub at Woody Point with gorgeous views across Bramble Bay, that has been a drawcard for visitors and locals since it opened in 1901.
There are garden rooms, dining pavilions, child's play areas, a dog friendly deck, bars in both the new and old sections, function spaces and a gaming lounge, all under one giant interconnected roof, while the sunset view from the massive waterfront deck has been voted one of the top ten in Australia by National Geographic.
There really is something for everyone, including families with kids with a dedicated kids menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner available.

Sitting comfortably on 500 metres of unobstructed water-frontage is Sandstone Point Hotel. Dine on the terraced alfresco area, inside the bistro, or outside where you can overlook Pumicestone Passage.
Bring the kids along to wear out some energy in the massive state-of-the-art outdoor playground, make friends with animals in the petting zoo, or run around and play a sport on the grassed area.
Serving modern Australian cuisine including fresh seafood and steak sourced locally, wood-fired pizzas, mouth-watering burgers and lighter options, the menu is dictated by the season, so you’ll always be able to try a new dish with the family – a kid’s menu is available inside at the restaurant.

The Pancake Manor

Brisbane’s CBD is not known for child friendly dining, yet there is one restaurant in the heart of the city that has provided just that since the 70s, and is still going strong.
The Pancake Manor is housed in a church building, formerly St Luke’s Cathedral that was built in 1904. Complete with magnificent arches and stained glass windows, Pancake Manor is a fun and quirky setting for a pancake restaurant. In keeping with its historic theme, the restaurant has knight armour on display and church pews for seating. There is also a pool table that children are welcome to play on. The décor and facilities are looking tired after almost 50 years of operations but that doesn’t take away from the food!
Open 24 hours a day, you can get both sweet and savoury food, with a dedicated children’s menu. Of course there are your favourites - pancakes or waffles with grilled bananas, butterscotch sauce, cream and vanilla ice-cream. The “Funny Face” pancake with marshmallows, strawberries, vanilla ice-cream, chocolate sauce and strawberry jam is a hit with the kids. And if it’s a beautiful day, takeaway is available, so you can enjoy your food in the nearby Botanical Gardens.
